Fishing Newsletter 2

Will my children enjoy fishing?

By being patient, teaching them how to respect the water, and understanding when they want to do something else, you will be able to teach your children how to fish in a way they will enjoy. Fishing is not for everyone, but everyone should give it a try. Many people fondly remember fishing with their parents and grandparents. Why not give your child a chance to make these memories with you? Visit www.guides4fishing.com and read the new ebook "Your Survival Guide to Fishing". In it, you will find ways like the ones mentioned below that will help teach your child to enjoy fishing.

Buy the right equipment

Children will need smaller casting rods and other equipment when they are first learning how to fish. Once they learn how to control their line, then you can buy them more sophisticated equipment. A simple plastic casting rod is all you will need. If your child does not want to use live bait, there are many alternatives available.

Teaching

Teach children a little at a time. This will allow them to learn quickly and absorb the information. If you teach them too quickly, they may find fishing too difficult and will not want to do it again. Fishing is a sport that must be respected even if it is too difficult for some.
